You Betta Believe We Care!
At You Betta Merch, we believe that bold, creative merchandise shouldn't come at the cost of people or the planet. That’s why we take a mindful, transparent approach to how our products are made—from the designs you love to the hands that make them.
We work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure that every product reflects our values of fairness, sustainability, and quality. Our products are sourced from multiple locations and printed here in the U.K. Our T-shirts are a mixture of Bella + Canvas and also Gildan. Where possible, we produce items right here in the UK—either by collaborating with other local businesses or by making them ourselves. This supports local makers, reduces emissions from transport, and gives us more control over production standards.
Some of our stock does come from overseas, including China. When we source from international suppliers, we don’t cut corners. We choose to work with manufacturers who align with our ethics, and we take extra steps to ensure fair pricing and responsible production. We pay fair rates and maintain strong relationships to support good working conditions and long-term sustainability.
We’re also committed to reducing our environmental impact across the board. That means using materials that are natural, recycled, or recyclable whenever possible, and packaging our merch in eco-friendly ways—either made from recycled content or fully recyclable.
We know merch is more than just stuff—it’s an expression of identity. So we make sure that everything we create not only looks good and feels great, but also stands for something better. By supporting You Betta Merch, you’re choosing to back a business that’s serious about ethics, sustainability, and doing things the right way.
Gildan
“As Gildan controls the entire process, from raw cotton to finished garments the answer is as follows:
- Our yarns mostly use US cotton and are generally spun in our yarn spinning plants in the USA
- Those yarns are sent to our textile facilities in Honduras and the Dominican Republic to be knit, dyed, finished and cut into fabric parts for sewing. The cut parts from Dominican Republic are either sewn in Dominican Republic or Haitian sewing facilities. The cut parts from Honduras are either sewn in Honduran or Nicaraguan sewing facilities. Gildan also operates a small facility in Bangladesh which makes the textiles and sews the final garments in one location.”
